1 in 7 couples suffer with fertility issues, that's 3.5 million people in the UK alone. Is this you?
Maybe, you wake up in the morning and your first thought is “When will it my turn to have a baby”. You go to bed at night wondering “Will this ever happen for me?” You dread going onto your social media, for fear that you will see yet another pregnancy or birth announcement. You’d love to hide away under your duvet, but you have to make the journey to work, seeing pregnant ladies around every corner, and cute baby photos on every work desk.
You used to love going out with friends and meeting new people, but now every social event seems to include well-meaning, but annoying people who ask you when you are going to “get on with it”, talk about your biological clock ticking, and straight up ask you when you are going to have a baby because surely you must realise that your time is running out? The thing is, no matter how frustrated, angry and upset you are, it is not possible to avoid these situations and people. It is possible though, to stop these things from continuing to hurt you, by taking care of your emotional well-being.
Let's be honest, your infertility interferes with almost every aspect of your life. Your relationships with friends, family, parents, in-laws and even work colleagues. Your home life, marriage, sex life. The food you allow yourself to eat on your fertility diet and the future plans you feel unable to make.
The pain experienced during your fertility struggle affects every area of your life. However, you don't need to stay stuck in this place of relentless hurt. You can heal; let go of the stress and anxiety and move forward with your life. It can feel like life is on hold when trying for a baby, but there are ways to regain control and find happiness in life again, while also holding onto your dream of having a baby.
As well as this being, no way to live, the really sad thing is, is that it affects your chances of becoming pregnant too. I will go further and say that without making sure a person’s emotional health is looked after, all other treatments are compromised.

When we are unhappy, we think the only way out is to find happiness, and that can be difficult to imagine when you are feeling so low.
The good news is though, there is a place in between that, that is easier to get to on a regular basis. When you learn how to get there you can find peace in the midst of anguish.
Learn how to re gain control over your life, so you can enjoy life once again, whilst still pursuing your dream of having of a baby.
It can feel like life is on hold when trying for a baby, but there are ways to regain control and find happiness in life again, while also holding onto your dream of having a baby.
What's messed up is that the longer you are on your fertility journey, the worse things get for you from a psychological perspective, which plays further havoc with your body and your fertility hormones.
