“The Freedom Fertility Formula” is all about cracking the code of the F.E.R.T.I.L.E. mind.
This acronym represents the 7 steps you as a Freedom Fertility client will go through, to start enjoying your life once more, whilst trying for your baby.
There are also additional sessions for IVF, loss, pregnancy and different pathways to parenthood.
Session one is about hearing your story. The story that has brought you to me. Your frustration, anger, overwhelm, sadness, devastation, hopes and dreams. There’s probably a real mixture of emotions and that is why it is so important that your story is heard. Expressing out loud how your fertility journey has made you feel, is the start of healing and moving forward in your journey.
We look at setting the foundation on which your Freedom Fertility journey will be based. You will rediscover the things that used to make you happy. If they used to make you feel good, chances are they will do the same again. We will focus on self-care in this first session with a simple 3 step daily routine called “The Daily Care Strategy.”
You will hear the “Soothing Soul Break” relaxation script, which contains a lovely, simple calming technique and will ultimately aid deep rest and relaxation.
Session one really sets the scene and the foundation for getting you back on track in your life, while still holding space for the baby you dream of having.
This is where we explore emotions. What you are feeling, what your feelings are trying to tell you, and why there are no 'bad' or 'good' emotions.
We talk about how we use unhelpful habits to try and distract us from uncomfortable feelings, and why distraction doesn't help us.
When we accept and understand our emotions, we can process them and let them flow on through. Most of us have got use to ignoring our emotions, which ultimately doesn’t work.
We look at the things that we are doing in order to enhance our chances of conceiving and evaluate. Are these things serving us, or adding to our anxiety? Letting go can be empowering!
We also learn some great techniques for keeping ourselves free of stress and on an even keel day to day, and also how to deal with those difficult situations and times where your emotions have become overwhelming.
Session 3-Re programming
In this session, we will explore how our subconscious mind can hold onto unhelpful beliefs about getting pregnant, staying pregnant and giving birth. You will learn how to let go of these outdated beliefs and potential blocks and set up new programming for your desired outcome of having a baby.
You will listen to a relaxing guided imagery MP3 and to the messages it brings up so you can move forward knowing that your mind and body are working together towards achieving the same dream of having a baby.
This session teaches you empowering techniques, to take the sting out of difficult situations involving your fertility .
As much as we might like to, we cannot control what others say or do. The reality is that you may be faced with situations which leave you feeling anxious, angry or stressed. Rather than trying to swim against the tide, you will learn to flow with it instead. You won’t have to worry about questions like ”when are you two going to have babies, you aren’t getting any younger you know” or surprise pregnancy announcements at parties, because you are going to learn techniques to deal with it. You CAN handle it, you just can’t see the wood from the trees right now.
This session will reaffirm your ability to cope, as well as educating you with specific tools to use to provide immediate relief from emotional pain.
The guided relaxation is also a great tool for emotional protection and resilience.
By the time we get to this 5th session, you have learnt so much about the power of your mind. You are in a much stronger place to start focussing on your desire to have a baby, in a useful way. From this much stronger place, you will be able to do this with optimism, rather than from a place of lack, that has not only kept you trapped in a downward cycle of despair, but prevented the right messages getting through to your subconscious as well.
The use of your imagination will strengthen the mind/body connection, sending the messages that you will want your body to hear, in relation to you getting pregnant.
The relaxation/guided imagery MP3 that comes with this session, offers a wonderful chance to rebalance and reaffirm the strength of your body and mind, making sure that all of your reproductive hormones are set to optimum levels.
Feel ready to accept invitations, make plans and get on with living your life again knowing that you can handle anything.
In this session, we will reflect on how far you have come, to make you aware of how amazing you have been and exactly what you have achieved-this will also be a great form of motivation to continue on. We will then review what you are finding most useful, so we can come up with a strategy for your on-going success.
We will finish our session with the “Live Life Now” guided relaxation MP3, which will set you free from your self-enforced emotional prison and enable you to let go of any lingering emotional blocks, wipe out any additional outdated route maps that may be holding you back, so you can step forward on your fertility pathway, with hope and expectation.
This is a bonus session, that you take if, and when you need it.
This session often happens because of change. I.e:
You have decided to start the IVF process
You have decided to stop trying for a baby
You are pregnant
You have suffered a loss
We have specific sessions for these situations.
Or perhaps you would like a relaxation session or recap of techniques.
The pain can’t and shouldn’t be suppressed, however you can learn how to listen and respond to it in a useful way. You will discover how you can handle those difficult situations, and surprise yourself at how simple it turns out to be able to enjoy your life again.
